My name is Mervelina, and I am the proud owner of BouncedbyMia. Curly hair has always fascinated me, yet I struggled to understand how to properly care for my own curls. It wasn't until I turned 15 that I made the decision to embrace my natural hair, sparking my journey into researching how to manage frizz and curls effectively.

This decision was a significant moment for me, as I began to view my hair as my crowning glory. As I delved deeper into understanding curly hair care, I found myself inundated with questions from other individuals with frizzy hair. They sought advice on the best products for their hair and whether their curls could achieve healthy growth. It was during these interactions that I realized my true calling: to use my passion for curly hair to help others.

I am driven by the desire to empower individuals to embrace their natural hair and see it as their own unique crown. Through my own experiences, I recognized that many products available in local drugstores often fall short in addressing the needs of frizzy hair. This realization led me to contemplate how I could make a positive impact within our community.

In November 2019, I took a leap of faith and launched my own line of hair products. This decision allowed me to turn my passion for curly hair care into my life's work.
